This series of oil paintings is about motherhood: the magic of pregnancy, the challenge of birth, the sweet nurturing of babies, and the emotional transitions of becoming a mother.  This transition was an empowering experience for me; I came to discover this incredible strength I had deep within, the intense unconditional love I felt for my daughters, and the natural urge to protect them in any way I could, as well as the wish to guide them toward their own dreams.  These paintings are bold and colorful, expressive and symbolic, as well as hinting toward the cosmic and the future.
